Trail and Street

Trail and Street is an AI-powered news site built with SvelteKit and deployed on Cloudflare. The platform leverages Cloudflare R2 for object storage and D1 for database operations. It integrates multiple AI providers (Groq, Gemini, DeepSeek, Anthropic, and OpenAI) through an API router using Vercel AI SDK shims. Everything from image generation, excerpts, reviews, and articles are written with AI. A full management system is in place with tags, categories, and a comprehensive image compression worker written in Rust. The compression system is scaled with a background queue running on Cloudflare Workflows, ensuring efficient processing of images at scale.
